Organic Energy (UK) Ltd. is the UK supplier of OkoFEN automatic wood pellet central heating boilers and high quality Austrian solar water heating systems. Their main website, www.organicenergy.co.uk, is designed primarily for use by their trade customers: the heating engineers and plumbers who install their products. Also having an Irish franchise, the domain www.organicenergy.ie has also been registered. For marketing solar water heating systems to the public, the www.organicenergysolar.co.uk website is used. A number of other domains are also used in order to improve search engine rankings and capture potential customers who search for specific keywords. These include fairly general keywords such as www.eco-heating-uk.co.uk, www.environmentalheating.co.uk and www.greenheatinguk.co.uk, whilst others specifically refer to solar water heating, such as www.solarhotwater-uk.co.uk, www.solarwaterheatinguk.co.uk and www.solar-water-heating-uk.co.uk, or solar thermal: www.solarthermaluk.co.uk or solar panels: www.solarpanels-uk.co.uk. Two are chosen specifically to capture users who search for swimming pool heating, these being www.swimmingpoolsolar.co.uk and www.solarswimmingpool.co.uk.
Environment Skills Training is a chainsaw training provider based in Aberystwyth, Mid Wales. They also offer ATV (quad bike) training, brushcutter and strimmer training, manual handling courses and first aid qualifications. Their website, www.environmentskills.co.uk, was recently redesigned to enable more content and information to be presented in a tidy and logical layout. The domains www.environmentskillstraining.co.uk and www.environmentalskills.co.uk are also registered to capture customers who search for similar company names. As above, Environment Skills Training also own a number of other domains in order to ensure good keyword coverage. www.chainsawcourses.co.uk and www.chainsawtrainingwales.co.uk contain common search terms for the core service offered, as do www.quadbike-training.co.uk, www.strimmertraining.co.uk and www.manualhandlingtrainingwales.co.uk. Meanwhile, www.lantraatvtraining.co.uk, www.lantra-chainsaw-training.co.uk and www.lantrachainsaw.co.uk contain the 'LANTRA' keyword, a well-known chainsaw qualification, whilst www.nptcchainsaw.co.uk and www.nptctraining.co.uk contain the 'NPTC' keyword for similar reasons. The www.midwalesecotrails.co.uk and www.midwaleswildernessrides.co.uk
domains owned by Environment Skills Training pertain to other strands of the business run as sidelines to the main activity.
Ecotribal is a UK-based organisation which supports tribal communities by offering a strong eco branding for their sustainable products and in developing fair trade and organic standards. The www.ecotribal.com
website has a deliberately non-corporate image to emphasise the non-western nature of the subject. Various sub domains were registered to protect the brand, these being www.ecotribal.org.uk and www.ecotribal.co.uk in the UK, and www.ecotribal.net and www.ecotribal.org as additional internationl domains.
A number of other websites are also maintained and hosted, including that of acclaimed poet and performer Benjamin Zephaniah at www.benjaminzephaniah.com, The Mid Wales Community Energy Trust at www.windfall.org.uk, my other business at www.jakesbikes.co.uk, and Broomfield Carbide Gauges Ltd. at www.broomfieldgauges.com.
Cyfeillion Cadw Tremadog (The Friends of Tremadog) is a buildings preservation trust in North Wales. In addition to their www.tremadog.org.uk domain they also have www.tremadog.com and a local business's web page at www.morwr-madog.co.uk.
Finally, I maintain a few smaller websites for friends and family including www.beccavoelcker.co.uk, www.voelckerarchitects.co.uk and www.voelckers.co.uk, and a number of charities and good causes are supported through the provision of free or subsidised web design, hosting and content management software, these include www.plasmachynlleth.org.uk, www.dyfivalleyseedsavers.co.uk and www.bdcr.org.uk
